I just got my Psp today, it's fully charged, and I haven't done anything with it yet. I just need confirmation, so I won't, like, break my psp. Lulz.

No. If you bought a new PSP it's realistically a slim. You'll need to downgrade it to a custom firmware. Once you have your CFW you simply place the ISO or CSO in the ISO folder. No need for dev hook any more unless you're running an older model PSP with old CFW.

I believe I have a link in my cig that'll tell you how to flash your PSP.
