Running images on Vista

Recently i got an image out of my original PC game cd. When i tried to mount it to run on Vista 32-bit using the lastest version of daemon tools, it mounted but i cant run it through auto-run. When i double-click the installer file, it says: "(Name of game) not installed! Plz insert the original game disc n try again."

I was wondering if it was Vista problem or the version of daemon tools which was causing this as i had no problem when do the same thing on my window XP Pro. Should i get a new image mounting programme or is there any way to solve this.

P.S I tried every way to make it run(manual clicking of isntall file) but it jus doesnt work.
