Okami Freeze Up

I have never had a game freeze on me in the almost 2 years that I've had my Wiikey Wii, but after playing Okami to the 6 hour mark my Wii freezed up during a boss battle and I had to reboot, after the reboot I finished the boss battle and played for another hour and it froze up again on another boss battle, has anyone had this problem or does anyone know what may be causing it?
