I personally don?t think it will work but I may be wrong.
If you have an Xbox 360 with say for example, an Hitachi rom v0047DJ
And you got a second identical drive, BOTH WORKING we will call them Drive A and Drive B
Could you take the PCB out of Drive A and place in Drive B and fit drive back into Xbox 360 with out flashing it?
Why I ask someone on eBay is stating it will work and trying to sell it.
i think you have to flash
so if a take drive A hitachi rom v0047dj out of an xbox
and drive B hitachi rom v0047dj out of another xbox
swap pcb it may work if they both have same firmware what about the drive key for each motherboard?
keys dont matter. if drive a has been flashed and is a 47 model, you can take drive b's 47 pcb and put it into drive a, and it will remain flashed, and will work with console a
