Trying to run gamecube backups on unmodded wii

hey there, this is my theory, i imagined it would be possible but ive hit a snag, wonder if someone could help me.

Heres what i tried to do

1. put gcm's in a folder called GCGAMES on one sd card and i put this in my sd gecko, and then into slot A on my wii.

2. put magloader, twilight hack, and sd boot 0.3, on another sd card wich i put in my front slot on the wii.

3. run twilight hack, wich then boots magloader, i then choosed sd boot from the list, this boots but tells me, the device in slot a cannot be used. i try sticking the sd gecko in both ports and no luck. do i need to format my sd card in a certain way for sd boot to recognise it?
