Hi,
I am looking for some help, i am Modding a Xbox with a Philips/Benq DVD..
I have used Iprep with Benq iXtreme v1.41, now when I get to Sata info, i have a Nvidia NForce IntelATA controller which when select states that MTKflash and DOS flash compatible and I make a bootable flash drive...do I need to select patch MTK flash
after the instruction to resend MTK press y then turn on Xbox nothing happens... it just sits at 0x80.
someone said that maybe my motherboard sata slot aren't compatible so I bought Via 6421 and fitted this, went to make new boot flash drive but, when I select the Via 6421 in iPrep it states this device is not supported
I am assuming you have downloaded BenQ Ixtreme v 1.41
Confirm that your SATA chipset (Via VT 6421) is selected in the dropdown menu in iprep.
Select your USB flash drive from the drop-down list in iprep.
Check the box to format the flash drive and make it bootable in iprep.
Click Prepare Destination
yes, each stage has been completed as per the noob guide.. I reamve all drives, reboot PC into iprep. its the points where you want to resend the MDK to vendor, I press y and enter..turn on Xbox( i can hear the Benq drive starting) but, the status just sits at 0x7F or 0x80

you want the 360 drive connected to the sata slot closest to the front of the pc.....it should go...back of pc..sata slot, ide slot, then the other sata slot...
