i flashed 2 friend psps today both seem to have gone perfect but 1 had about 5 bad blocks (maybe up to 7 i wasnt thinking about it much then since ive read about bad blocks here before but never that many) is that normal?

It's normal, don't worry about it unless you get many bad blocks.
Nothing is perfect.
