Hi ppl.

I read the realy nice giud about how not to brick your nintendo wii:)
BUT i havent got my wii yet so i just want to pop a simple question.
Does the Wii ask you if u want to update or just it just go for it when you wack in the DVD with an update on?

It will pop up a message telling you an update available. It leaves you only one option to choose, an "OK" button to agree to update it. However, you can eject the disc or turn off the wii to avoid the update.

Just a simple one again.
Its ONLY the updating that can brick a wii right?
So if i update my wii from the internet true the wii and never update via a disc there is no chance of bricking it right?
No matter what disc i insert in to the consol.

Update from internet = no brick
from disc (same region) = no brick
from disc (different region) = semi-brick or complete brick

ye i read that treath but i just wanted to make absolutely sure that if i never update from a Disc i will never get a brick?
Can you answer yes to that?
