PSP Slim 3.90 M33-3

Hello Everyone,
I have the 3.90 M33-3 installed on my PSP slim, but I am unable to play any games on the PSP. It will show them, and even do a little background music if I look at them on my memory stick, but when I try to start any game it gives me the following message "the could not be started (80020321)" any idea's?
Please let me know. I really appreciate it.

For some VERY WEIRD reason, this happened to me once and reinstalling the custom firmware fixed it.

Did you Pandora it? or did you just install it from the memory stick?

I used Pandora... I don't think you can re-install CFW using just the memory stick (unless updating).

Alright, I will try to re-install it from Pandora. Thanks. I have tried to once already, it could just be a fluke. I don't know, hopefully it works *crosses fingers*
I'll let you know if it works. Thanks for being so quick with the replies. If you need any games or anything. I have links to almost any game that you would need, including Japanese ones, they are a friends links, so he won't mind as long as you don't share them with everyone.

I just tried to do it 3 times again. It writes all the files, and then it asks me to push X to shut it down. I shut it down and then put in the other memory card and it won't start, I tried three different games and it's the samething. I know the memory card works, because it worked with my bricked Phat PSP.
Anything else that you can think of?

Is your Phat PSP running?
If it is, then format the memory stick using the Phat and try putting it in the Slim again.

No, the Phat one is down. I have the Magic Memory Stick, but I'm unable to create a pandora battery.
Would it make a difference if I formatted it with my Slim or used my PC to format it? I didn't think that it would matter as long as you format the memory stick. I have a sandisk 128MB magic memory stick. I have another memory stick that is 4gb sony memory stick duo pro.
Hmm, I wonder if I put the CFW to OFW 3.90 and format the 4GB memory stick while the OFW is there would it make a difference?

Very unlikely. Try putting your MS in a friend's modded PSP and see if you can play the games on there. If you can't then redownload the game/prgram you're trying to run.

Yeah, I tried that...the game works fine in his PSP and he is running the same as me. The games work just fine.

I did just notice something while looking at the bottom of the thread, it had the motherboard model of another thread there. It says up above that it's model Ta-?? for the motherboard. I'm unsure if that would have anything to do with it?
I really just want to get it up and going, I bought a new PSP slim just to be able to play the games and run the stuff on it.
If anyone has any input or can help me out please let me know.

hi mate you have 3.90m33-3 on ur psp correct? press the select button on the psp scroll down to umd mode select m33 driver by pressing > when mee driver comes up scroll down to exit ur game should now work

You my friend are a Genius! that worked just fine. I had a UMD in the slot and it started to work and I thought I would have to keep it in there to play the games off the memory stick.

wow i was just gonna suggest u change the driver u read my mind... glad to help
if u still hav problems playing some games, change it to sony no umd driver.

l was on 3.90m33-3 then l use pandora's [despertar del cementerio v4]
to get back 3.80m33-5
and just update again to 3.90m33 and 3.90m33-2
all work fine

you should have no problem's running any games on ur psp with m33 driver no umd on
250gb ps3 non modded and 60gb launch model 3.55cfw
