use Wii BrickBlocker, it can read the region info and block updates from the disc.

also RegionFrii, read region info and change the region.

You could also just turn off region override on the chip. Then out of region games wont load at all and you wont have to worry about updates.

Lets say i use Wii Brick Blocker to read the disc and it finds out its out of region and has an update. Can it still Patch that update even though its already Burnt? :)

How can RegionFrii change the Region of the game? When they make the game isn't set to like PAL or NTSC and its not changeable. So for example i get SSBB (NTSC) and RegionFrii can change it into a PAL? If so, is the update the still NTSC? Or when changed is it PAL update now?

Thanks

wii brickblocker blocks the update function of the game iso regardless of the region.

Regionfrii doesn't really change the region including the update. It's only a software version of region free override function for chipped wii without physically applied the region free function. The update it applies still the same as the original region's.

That's why many people use both of these programs to play out of region games.
