Need help with patching and burning of ISOs (Mac User)

Hi, I need help with burning and patching of ISOs that I've downloaded...

I'm a MacBook Pro user, currently on OSX 10.4.11. My Wii is NTSC U/C, 3.1U and modded (unsure which modchip).

so far, I have 2 ISOs - Mario Kart and Winning Eleven: Play Maker 2008...

I've tried patching those 2 games with WiiJunkies, however whenever I click on "Apply", it'll quit immediately...

I burned my copy of Mario Kart with an Imation 16X DVD-R... it loads on my Wii and prompt for an update...

I would like to know if there are any other methods/apps for Mac to remove the region update as the WiiJunkies doesn't seem to work...

Two options:

1. Get a computer that actually has useful software made for it. IE: PC :), I actually have leopard running on my acer laptop and its pretty cool but gets annoying having to go back to windows to do stuff.

2. Use bootcamp or parallel to run xp on your macbook.
