Wii - With D2CKEY+WiiClip Will Only Play Original Games, Any Help?

I'm pretty sure theres new security measures in place now which are preventing newer games from booting, i'm currently researching this.
I have a dc2key installed, working perfectly with older games up until the most recent that works is Opoona, everything newer than that such as Summer Sports: Paradise Island, SSBB, Mario Kart, Heavenly Guardian and newer all have 'unable to read disc' errors,
As I type this, i'm getting ready an older game to burn and try to do another test to make sure.
i've currently tested:
Burned on two different desktops with totally different drives(originally burned perfectly, even tried using my old lite-on 8x burner which hasn't failed me yet..failed with the newer isos)
Burned using laptop comp with a lightscribe 'generic' burner
Using different burning programs at different speeds, Nero, Acohol 120% and IMGburn 2.4.1 at 2x and 4x
Using different media from +R,_R etc.. currently trying Memorex 16x+R which I originally used with no problems, I've tried in fact slightly older games are still working perfectly, i'm playing No More Heroes as I type this)
I doubt that i'm getting bad isos and I doubt the burners are bad since i've burned alot without issue, until now.., so i'm actually learning towards that fact that Nintendo now have a way of disabling certain Mod-chips making for all these 'unable to read errors'

Well the last game i tried was House Of The Dead (Return of 2 and 3) - And that didn't work. Is that a new game?

i have done 4 d2c machines with wii-clip presoldered to d2ckey.all installed no problem ,chip fit very well.last night i tried a newly purchased machine from ***mart.it did not work.i took apart a working modded machine and switched wii-clips between the two machines.prior modded machine still worked,and new machine still did not work.mario kart,iron man,speed racer all work fine on first 4 machines,new machine only plays oem disc.it sure seems by the first 4 machines that i got the install down,and by swapping the chips,its not a bad chip.WOW,SOMETHING NEW WITH NINTENDO

For me, i'm still confused by the whole matter. I tried Return of the dead 2 and 3 earlier today, my older backup and original works perfectly, but I did a new burn of that, and it doesn't work along with anything else. I'm semi confused by it :/

Can someone answer me this question then, if my wii was purchased in the first week of april this year, should i be having problems with a d2ckey? it's all so confusing.

So I purchased some verbatim dvd-r and tried that. same thing....wont run the burned discs. anyone have any clue?

Exactly the same thing has happened to me, and i have deduced that the solution is waiting for a new chip to arrive to combat the slight modification that nintendo has made with its latest models. The d2ckey site talks about it, and that it is currently in production. What annoyed me is that i spent about 30GBP buying this chip which is now useless to me, but fully functioning for someone else's wii.

Did you manage to solve your problem? I am having exactly the same problem, originals did work (the blue led was flashing) but the backup's didn't (the blue led is flashing twice and this is it).
I was taking the d2ckey with wiiclip from the chip, and put it back on, million times. I have managed to run the backup maybe 4-5 times - so it did WORK! I think that the wiiclip is the problem. I have bought today different brands of dvds, because i think this might help too.
I am very dissapointed with this wiiclips thing ;/

My problem is that the burned games work on my Wii with D2Ckey Wii-Clip. Even the Mario Kart works. However, the burned games are my friend's and I'm tryng to burn my own and my burned ones aren't being read. I've perfectly followed all steps, using Sony DVD-R (same as friend's) and even at all speeds. I tried Guitar Hero Aerosmith and Fishing Master and none of them have worked so far. I'm getting frusterated since I've downloaded like 3 different types of Guitar Hero Aerosmith and none to seem to have worked. Do you think is it because the Guitar Hero Aerosmith is a new game and it can't be read on my D2Ckey Wii-Clip?

Well I am sorry that you guys are having trouble with the issue. However, I am glad that I am not the only one with this issue.
Mine is D1A modded with d2ckey. It is working for most of the old titles including Zelda, Rayman 1 & 2, Nights, Mario Sonic Olympic, Sonic Secret Rings, Okami, Lego Starwars, Naruto clash of Ninja, Guitar Hero III, DDR Hottest Party etc. However, it is not working with SSBB, Mari Kart, Mario Galaxy, Lego Indiana Jones, MLB 2k8, which are recent ones.
What is bothering me is that there are happy d2ckey users without such problem out there.
Could it be possible that my d2ckey is not genuine?
I am thinking about going to d2pro and need advice if anyone had chosen this path and was successful.

I am having the same problems as others...Blue LED for originals but none for Backups and always a red LED. If anyone has gotten it to work please let me know.
