Hi im having some trouble understanding the instructions and how to actually flash it.
I have it in mode b using Slax 2.0
It is recognized on my computer ( cd drive f)
Flashhix.bat asks me which is the drive letter..i say : f
choose a firmware speed: i chose 8x
Name the backup folder....( this part i dont understand ... i put 123 and it just dumps everything ( this other stuff) in the ixtreme folder) and nothing happens.. like it takes a second and then nothing i just wait there.

Whats going on?

ok good idea, but im not sure that will work or make a difference, cuz no matter what i named "it" , it just dumped a whole bunch of icons in the ixtreme folder were the flashix.bat icon is also... so iunno whats that about.

after the dump make sure you have your original.bin firmware before you flash

sorry im new to this all, how do you make sure you have all that... well it does dump some files n icons in the xtreme folder but then it stops or it says it doesnt recognize the drive.. tho windows recognizes it, and i also tried in safe mode, and off with all the background programs...
i dont know whats happening
