I've spent more than a week or so upgrading psp from 3.71 M33.3 to 3.9 M33.3, adding emulators and such. I just finished creating my 4 disc eboot of FFVIII and I get to the New Game/Continue screen and the screen blanks after Selecting New Game. I have downloaded popsloader and enabled it and selected all the options first of which I tried was 3.71 but that freezes. Im not sure where to go from here exept to downgrade to CFW 3.71 M33-3 again and see if the game works on that. any thoughts would be helpful. thanks
If you just created it try choosing original from flash when booting the game. Hold the R trigger down when starting the game from XMB and your choices of firmware will appear.

Yeah I tried Original from flash as well and the same thing happens, just a black screen after selecting New Game. Im thinking it maybe bad files or something but I doubt it cause everything else loads up fine. Oh and I also have kernel 1.50 running which I forgot to mention in original thread. Thanks for the post though
do you have all the prx's for the seplugins folder. If not search " sony prx " at mininova and download that file, it's only 26mb with 7 seeds. Replace your seplugins folder with that one and try again. You can can change your kernel to 3.xx
