i have just put a sd card into my wii which is just a standard card not one from nintendo i was hoping to be able to move my save games from the wii to the sd card is this possible ???????????

Do you mean Game Saves? Or Actually Games?

You can't save games like: SSBB, mario kart, guitar hero 3 etc. because it has online. Your sd card is fine, it's just that you can't do it.
