Just curious. It is not on the compatibility list at Xbox.com, but i know that on the reviews i read it could be used with a PS2 or older Xbox. Even though it is a bit Pricey it was also rated better then the Linksys i have and the D-Link that i thought about getting.
PS a side note to all who have a Linksys WGA54G DON'T UPDATE THE FIRMWARE! no matter who tells you this may help they are wrong. What it will do is take your perfectly fine open NAT and set you back to mederate, and there is nothing i have found that you can do to reverse it.
Then if your lucky like me you will make the mistake of calling Linksys tech support to try to resolve the NAT issue which you already know and have told them is due to the firmware upgrade on the adapter, and they will brick your wireless router as well. :(
I should have known better and just bought a new adapter. Although they are replacing my router for free.
the only problem i have with the official one is i think it is USB, correct? As far as i know i only have one USB port and it is being used by my Turtle Beach headset, so it needs to be an ethernet type adapter.

i will have to look, the Elite says it should have 3 USB ports, 1 back and two front. I have never really looked for them on the front. I only knew the one in the back.

OK, how about a little explanation on that please. You use so many abbreviations for words i cant understand exactly what your talking about.
I know the WRT54G part is another router because i have a WRT54GS now.
No idea what that flash is suppose to mean
and no idea what "set it as AP or WDS" means.
Originally posted by xdragoon: if you really need an wireless "ethernet" option, go with a wrt54g/gl and flash it with dd-wrt. Set it as AP or WDS. $50-60.
A lot better range than the crappy, overpriced M$ wifi adapter
