i have the mario kart iso on my computer but it wont open out of the rar so i can transfer the iso to a foler... it says the file is damaged or unknown file type with winrar the file is all good i checked it with quickpar tried alot of stuff stil cant open it

If you can't extract the .iso, then it doesn't exist on your computer....read the newbie tutorial

In windows, the icon for the .iso file will look the same as the icon for a rar'd file. The error you are getting is due to the fact that you are trying to unarchived the iso (which you aren't going to be able to do and you don't want to do). Just open up your burning program and burn the iso.

winrar or your rar'ing utility has by default associated .iso files with its self, this doesn't mean it isn't an iso:)

mario kart for the wii fk'n rocks! I got on that game last night....I love how they incorporated the tony hawk/bmx moves in the game!

i got it to burn it loads up the first screen on the wii and when you click start it stays on a black screen any ideas?? i have a wiikey chip do i need to update the chip i havnt done that.. my wii firmware is 3.2U

You need an update. If you are using a PAL copy of the game, I would getting a US version of SSBB and doing the update with that game (so you don't risk a semi-brick). If you are using the US version of Mario Kart, then there is no reason to brickblock it.

Either way, you need to get the update from either of those games.
