Verbatims aren't onsale on the moment and i'm desperate to try a dual layer game. Anyone tried these with the NEC 3550A

On newegg, TDK media seems to be well received.

Verbatims are top of the class...at least the older ones 2.4x...
If you are looking for cheap and reliable I say go with Memorex (The Red) STAY AWAY FROM THE PURPLE! They are not on sale on Newegg.com but shop around you'll find something...

If you do decide to gamble and choose the TDK let me know how it goes...who knows maybe they're better than Verbs(HIGHLY doubt it)but you do have a valid point they have some favorable reviews...

sure thing, but i'm going to stick with verbs and hopefully they'll go on sale soon. I have a nec 3550a and on newegg, people have found that they aren't a good couple.

I going to look for some MIS verbs.

i wouldnt recommend anything other than verbs ...

i tried TDK and Office Depot before and both worked great (except a little louder and longer loading times for the office depot)... but i see so many people say and emphasize the importance of using verbs, the best media for the 360 and (at the time) the only first class DVD DL media on the market ...

i looked my TDK's up last year and found they were 3rd class media - Office Depot was either 3rd or 4th ...

stick w/verbs jus to be safe ... anything less will cause unnecessary strain on ur lens/laser/eye ...

microcenter has a sale on them at least once a month - whether its a 3 pack or a 20 pack they still have incredible deals ...

I just bought a 20 pack of Singapore Verbatims on ebay for $32 after shipping and this was just yesterday.

There are deals out there, you just have to look.

You're right Slim i have verbs and Memorex (Red Pack), both work great no coasters yet! So other media than verbatim work as well, but Verbs are just simply the best.

newegg is a crapshoot in terms of getting india or singapore discs, just read some of the reviews.

At least the site me and SL7Rips use guarantees Singapore
