use rben or rsam, whichever your drive is, and redump the FW. boot into xp or vista whatever you have, open the key in firmware toolbox, and check out the first dump, i promise you its going to say FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF or 7777777777777777777777 as i had this same problem. to correct it, just get one of the backups it made in the CFW folder i think, and take it open it, copy the fw it game you should be like 4325LKJ5Q098A or something 'valid'. reopen the 'first dump' and paste the good key into it, and hit replace key. then reboot into iprep and run the fben/fsam command, and all will go well.

which version of iprep are you using though? if its not the newest it wont have the rben as an option either which could lead to the error you get when you try that. i ran into that problem a while back as well.

if you got the real original FW backed up on your PC in several places, you could always try to use eben which will erase it completly from the 360 and go from there.

thats the version i've been using with no problems. umm...what else can we try....umm...since you got the real key in there now, will it let you just run with fben command and flash it that way, or do you still get the erase error?

if that doesnt work, how about a screen shot of the error your getting, bc i know i had this same problem, but i cant remember off the top of my head how i got around it. im pretty sure i used rben, and then reflashed it, but ya. but im off to bed, i have a final in 8 hours and still got some studying to do. so best of luck.

gOT it to flash.. i had to reformat the floppy disc then used fben and it erased fine and flashed it
