can anyone help. have purchased a wii and a wii fit. is there anyway to hook it up via computer instead of tv. have got male to male leads but nothing seems to happen

I can't tell what you are asking here.

If you are trying to connect the Wii to a computer MONITOR, it depends on whether or not your monitor can accept a signal designed for a TV.

Please describe what you are trying to accomplish and how you are trying to accomplish it in a little more detail.

you can purchase tv tuner cards that have composite in (the yellow rca connector). You'll have to buy an adapter to plug the red and white sound cables into your audio line in on the back of your pc. The only reason that I say to purchase a tv tuner card rather than just a video capture card is because the tuner card will come with software for displaying the picture as opposed to video capture cards usually just include drivers and video editing software.

the wii has male usb socket so have purchased male/male usb lead hoping that when i plug into computer using red/yellow/white leads and male usb lead that it would ackowledge new software but it didnt do i need a new plug in?

just cuz u connect the wii to computer doesnt mean u can play it on the computer, u need a video card or a tv tuner card (something like allinwonder) that can render the signal from the wii to display on computer monitor. one way to check is if u connect a camcoder/vcr to your computer then u can play wii on the computer.

Ok most tv tunner cards have a delay makeing playing games on them impossable watching tv is usally ok but playing games no what you need is an external tv tuner box that will turn you computer screen into a tv and it doesnt have any delay at all..
