Hey guys, I am looking for some help to questions regarding the Pandora battery as i am new to this. I have followed this guide , How to recover semi-brick PSP slim , going through every step and unbricked my slim psp. What i want to know now is after this way of unbricking, is my psp now unbrickable? And what can Pandora battery and magic memory stick do?

Thanks in advance.

well if you followed the guide through creating the mms and pandora battery then it will unbrick your psp.

you will need to flash back your eeprom and return the battery to normal and it will turn back on like normal to reflash the eeprom you will need to take the battery out and turn the psp on with the ac in.

a mms and pandora battery can unbrick psps and install cfw on ofw psps

You can unbrick as long as you can get into recovery mode. If you brick it and can't get into recovery you have to have pandoras battery. I suggest buying an extra battery or tool battery and keeping it as pandoras just in case.

Ok thanks so i changed it from default to 333/166, but it still takes the same time to load the XMB? After the SonyComputer Entertainment, it first loads the date on the top right and after a few secs more then it loads the other stuff.

Its very easy.

1. put the key cleaner in the GAME folder
2. run it
3.Press X to scan motherboard
4. then it will tell you what is your motherboard
5. select your mother board
6. then it will check if keys are correct
7.If there are problems press X to fix it or whatever the app tells
8. then exit.

why if your on cfw then you wont need any of the files on there after pandoras battery so you can go ahead and format it

Yeah all will be deleted, but first back up your memory stick.
To format using PSP go to
1. Settings
2.system settings
3. find format memory stick

Good Luck!

Okay i have backup-ed the folder and formatted it, now what files are important to be in the PSP? These are the files i have before the formatting. "kd" folder, "registry" folder, 371.PBP, eeprom.bin , msipl.bin, and the "PSP>Game" folder. What do i need to put back?

the eeprom you will need to convert the battery back so just put that in the root of the memory stick thats all you need.

then when use the program to create the pandoras battery just use it to convert it back.

other than that the rest you can delete

also does the xmb still hang because if so check to see if you change the xmb or game to 333 if you change the game to 333 then it will have no effect on the xmb so change both to 333 or 266
