Okay, let me begin...

About 4 months ago i wanted to downgrade my PSP Slim to CFW 3.71 m-33 so that i can run homebrew games on my PSP.

So, i learned that in order to do this i needed a pandora or TOOL battery, and a mgaic memory stick.

I bought a TOOL battery converter from codejunkies.com to turn my Slim battery into a TOOL mode battery.

And i have a 2gb Pro-Duo memory stick.

For some reason when i insert the Memory stick and the TOOL battery it goes into service mode (black screen and turns on by itself.) but nothing more.

I tried holding down the L button and inserting the battery again but no results can someone please help me out with my problem!!

I have no access to another PSP with CFW and i'm running on Windows Vista. Help would be appreciated!!!!

ALSO!!

I did convert my memory stick into a "magic" one...

At least i think i did....because if it's not working i may not have done it right.

I'm not sure if it's because i have Windows Vista or if i just have the wrong files.

I'd say it's probably Vista. I know with me it cut off the last step of the Noob installer but still came up with the finished screen. Reran it on XP and it worked fine. I'd think that'd be one of the easiest things to check, assuming you got friends with XP or another comp in the house with it.

I'm running on internet explorer.

And i was planning on going to a friends computer with XP if it doesn't work one more time.

If this "Total Newbi" installer doesn't work i'll resort to that.

Nothing ever works right for me, lol.

Yeah, thanks again for the help,

But i'm already having another problem.

I downloaded the Grand Theft Auto : Liberty City Stories ISO.

But when i put the game file into the ISO folder on my PSP it doesn't show up when i go to the games section on my PSP i tried using the 'UMD Emulator software' but i was told that that only works for v1.5 PSPs.

So if you could help one more time that'd be great!
