cant get wiimotes to connect to wii

ive pressed the red button in the sd slot for 15 seconds and removed the wiimote batterys for a few minutes and then pressed its little red buttons, but I cant get any of the wiimotes to connect.

OK try this-

1. Leave the batteries inside the Wiimote.
2. Turn on the Wii manually.
3. Press the red sync button near the SD slot.
4. Press the red sync button on the Wiimote.
5. Point the Wiimote towards the TV. Shake it a little if you have to (the Wiimote).

Is there anyway to automatically connect the 2nd one so you dont have to goto setting everytime to connect the 2nd remote up?
