something strange with DVDit PE 2.5

i finally got my first crack the DVDit PE 2.5. I started a project in mpg2. Got everything together menues, movies and whatnot. I burnt it off and played it in my set top just to find out some of the mpg files where given a change in sound pitch and did not correlate with the video. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remedy this or what happened????

Uncheck the "convert to ac3" option in audio settings. If you want ac3 audio encode it with a encoder & then add it to the project. For some reason DVDit doesnt do a very good job of encoding to ac3.

There's no need to uncheck ac3 , i use it all the time however there are some things you need to make sure.

Use audio in 48k instead in 44.1 this will screw up the conversion.
I demux the audio and video, decode the audiofile to plain 48k wav using winamp.
and then use the m2v and wav file as separate files in dvd-it.
they stay perfectly in sync and they sound good.
if you use to options to save the audio files when processed you can copy the newly generated ac3 file and if you have to rebuild you can use that instead of the wav ((which takes some time to encode over and over)
