Trouble With Ntfs Dos Method

Hi, I recently found out that my computer can not boot with a usb drive, so I used Ntfs Dos Method, which seemed to be going well, I creared a partion for the hard drive used iprep to create the information on the partion, burnt & booted the dos cd that book says to do then I get to the part where in the book it says cd iprep 101, I got the "chdir error" so I used dir to locate the directory then I used the cd command for example "cd iprep_~2" then I connect the cable to the sata port & nothing happens, I am still stuck in ntfs dos menu?

Any help did I miss something?

hi im having same problem using ntfs4cd when i enter file path comes up with error,
my iprep files are in 'c' but cant work out correct file path.
can you help?

cd iprep_~1 then type intro.exe then dsam 1234567 12345(replace these with 360 serial)
should work
