Firstly im gonna appologise if this Question has Been Answered but the hours ive spent reading Forums to try and get Idea's just are'nt working
I got my Wii Chip with D2PRO and the Guy Showed me his Backups working in my Newly Chipped wii, (Thinking ohh Great cant wait till i get home and Back-up my Games.
I purchased myself a LG-8163B DVD-Rom, a LG GSA-H55N DVD Burner. I downloaded Rawdump 2.0 and ImgBrn. At first i kept on getting a "Faulty Drive Error" so i tryed FriiDump that seemed to Dump the Wii game alright then it came to Burning it to DVD, I am Currently Using DVD+R Verbatim DVD's.
The "Dump and Burn" Came up with "Successful" when i put the DVD in the Wii it came up with the "Unable to Read" Error. Then i tryed Downloading RawDump 2.1 that Dumped Perfectly for me and i burnt it again to DVD+R with ImgBrn but with the Same Problem "Unable to Read".
Ive seen in Hundreds of Posts that Burning at 4x works best for them, Unfortunatly not for me. Im Totally out of Idea's.
Like i said sorry if this has already been through the Threads but ive been hunting for ages trying to find a Solution to my Fast growing Frustration i probably missed it like (could'nt see the Forest for the Tree's)
I suggest trying DVD-R media instead of DVD+R Media. I know that some people on here use + media and it's worked but I have only had success with DVD-R and it has to be a good brand. I use only Sony because of the acu-core die technology that they use. Just my 2 cents
think it could be the media u r using, as said before.... dvd-r work the best for me, along with Ritek g05 dye discs, others have had success with Verbatims but its really wot your Wii likes.
Also try udating your DVD firmware if you havent already.
