Modded Wii not working--HELP!

Hello all,
I just installed my D2Pro in the wii using a wii-clip. I powered it up while it was still open and after a few insert/ejects, I got the little blue light to blink a few times, so I closed it up and went to plug it in.
The wii won't read backups or originals. I opened it back up and when I insert a disc, here's what happens:
Red light blinks once
Drive makes a clicking noise
Disc spins for a few seconds
Drive makes a high pitched noise (almost sounds like very fast beeps)
Drive stops
Red light doesn't come back on, blue light never blinks.

At this point all I get are unable to read disc errors. Also, when I eject the disc, it seems to take a few seconds before I can put it back in, like it's blocked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

More then likey the clip has come loose when you closed up the wii.

I had the same problem. Your wii-clip isn't properly attached to the board.

Thanks guys,
I did a region free install and did the four wires. I started wondering how many things I could take out of the equation, so I removed the region free wires and poof, it started to work! Then it stopped again! So I took the clip off, re-soldered some of the points that looked iffy, popped it back in and voila! It's consistently working and reading originals and backups.

Hope this helps someone in the future, thanks for the responses!
