Format DVD +RW using Nero 6?

Can anybody please tell me how to format a DVD +RW using Nero 6?

I have tried making a backup with DVDXCOPY but it says that the disc probably needs formatted. How do i do this??

Nero doesnt format a disk but you can erase. Click on Recorder and go from there.

Put a disk in your DvD burner (open my computer)then just right click on the disk and high lite format disk takes about 1 minute
