I have just bought a wii, with an argon chip installed. The first thing i tried to do after setting it up was to play wii sports. The game wouldn't load and just kept telling me to insert a disc. After numerous attempts I lent a backup and this worked first time, but i still cant get wii sports to work. Any ideas.

Maybe because it says on the back of the Wii Sports disc that if you mod your Wii you might not be able to play the Wii... I'm new, so this might not be right. Try playing your Wii Sports on another Wii that is not modded and see what happens.

I tried to play my copy of wii sports in a friends machine, bought and chipped at the same time as mine, and it worked perfectly.

does ur friend have the same type of chip as you too? If so it sounds like whoever modded ur wii butchered the job.

Do you have a Injectus?

If so make sure it is not connected to the Flat Cable.

Users have had issues with retail disc playing when Injectus is connected via Flat Cable during normal use.

The other issue that others had was the region wire you solder specific for your region was connected to the wrong point letter.

SX = USA
V = PAL
Y = Japanese
