nintendo just released the Nintendo Channel. haven't tried everything yet, but one feature is that it can act as a DS download station.

Yes it's in the shop channel under wiiware, a free download mind.
It's pretty neat but looking a little closer it's just a bunch of trailers for games, and most of them are old games not even new.
I do enjoy how good they make the games look though! I watched the endless ocean trailer and was tempted to go and buy it even though I know how crapp of a game it is lol.
Also there is an option to send them info about what you're doing on your wii so they can recommend you games. I said no thx to that one, becareful when installing it because it's one of those long pages which says accept or decline, which we have been trained to blindly press accept to.
But you don't have to agree, it will still install if you don't want to send them details. But you can't download DS demos that way. MEH.

endless ocean is a good game i liked it alot.. its a game that you can sit back and relax when playing it.. you dont have to do anything the plot is big deal the playing is fun though.. i liked it alot.. its a good game put 50 hours into playing it already and i still injoy playig it

Really? I thought it was cool but I got bored of it in like 5 minutes. Maybe I'll have to give it another chance, that commercial was pretty damn convincing!

wiiware? i just have virtual console and Wii software, i cant see it in Wii software. :O plz help. and did you say DS demos?....... ok im really lost... xD

wii software? Wtf.... in my wii store it's called "WiiWare" I'm 100% sure, and it's right there for free download.
And yes, your wii can act as a nintendo DS demo download station w/ this channel but I don't really see that as a great feature.

wiiware...wtf? lol, i dont understand why their diffrent tho, im in Australia, where are you? could that have something todo with it? i goto my wii menu and click on Wii shop chanel, connects then i have 2 big buttons, 1 called Virtual console and the other called Wii software, then 1 little long button below them both that says @add wii points' does that sound anythuig like yours? ive also got the latest updates and stuff... weird

Hmm yea I'm NTSC region (north america) and mine definitely says WiiWare, maybe they haven't released to to Region 4 (AUSTRALIA) yet?

I'm in UK and have 3.2E firmware on my Wii. I got a msg on my wii earlier telling me the availability of Nintendo Channel.
I have a d2ckey in my wii, is it safe to download and browse it?
