Hi Champs,
I feel disgraceful and disappointed in the hackers community.
I did not backup my BenQ-OFW.BIN file and feel like lost the sky's from the heavens. I have used i-prep on the USB Flash Drive and did not copy the Original Firmware File.
Can someone help how to retrieve my original firmware. If any xbox 360 repair services can help me in this. I m based in Dubai. Much appreciating your help in Advance Champs & Guru's.

look in the backup folders that iprep makes, there should be two copies of it in there. its the folder entitled, 'backups' of all things i do believe.

hi, thankyou for responding, there is nothing in the folder as i re-worked on the iprep usb drive due to 0X71F error in flashing the first time.

Hi, Thank you for responding me. I feel like a ray of hope somewhere. I am confident i will get solution from this forum. iprep had made the copy of the original firmware in the backup folder the first time i used to flash the benq drive. It then gave error 0X71F and the pc freezed so i tried again and againa and again the same process. THE STATUS NEVER CHANGED TO D1.
I thought of restarting the process again and made a new iprep in the same usb drive. The problem here is i never took a backup of the first iprep. so the second iprep made a new copy and i lost the original firmware.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!sanjay :cry:

there is no help, you lost the file, the file contains the code that is matched to the processor on the Xbox, once you lose your original file then no one will be able to help you because it is imposible to know all the data.

he could get an infectus chip to get the FW off of the MOBO i believe, but its a pain in the butt, and requires a lot of hard work to do.

Yep, the Infectus is quite technically involved. Honestly, if flashing the drive ended up being troublesome, then the Infectus would be next to impossible.

might as well buy another Xbox then. Thats the price you pay for being reckless and not saving the crap out of your bin file.

Hi Champs, I want to share the Good News. My XBOX 360 Elite is ok now. It has started playing Original Games.
I had restored the Key from the Formated USB Flash Disk. I have used Power recovery software which restored back about a Thousands of file. Finally i recovered my DVD Drive Key from those files and injected back on to the Benq Drive.
I really appreciate all your help and support. I will again back to you all Champs and Guru's as i really NOW want to Flash my Xbox 360 but will make sure all procedures are correctly done and never to forget to keep backup of the Key and Original Firmware.....hahaha.
