I really don't have a question about modding or anything i just don't understand y it will not work i just bought a brand new rb6 and it says unplayable disk then i returned and got another one and it says the same thing what is the problem and can i fix it myself without taking my xbox apart

2 questions

1st. Do any other games work, or is it just RB6 thats messing up

2nd. Have you tinkered with the DvD dRive or anything.

sounds to me like your laser is going bad, especially if you get the error on more than one disc

yeah it works on some games but doesn't work on another one of my games, and is there anyway to fix it besides taking it apart because my warranty is up and microsoft will not let me send it in unless i pay 100 bucks

sounds like you're screwed. There's no way to fix it. your best bet would be to buy a new laser and use the hair dryer trick to open it, or RROD it and sent it to MS for repair
