Playing USA PS2 in UK

Right now I'm in the US and I bought my PS2 slim in the US as well, if I wanna play my USA PS2 in the UK do I need to buy a voltage converter? AFAIK the voltage in the USA is 120V, Hertz 60, in the UK the voltage is 230V, Hertz 50. I saw a description on my PS2 AC adapter, it says INPUT:100-240V~1.2A 50/60Hz OUTPUT:8.5V 4.5A

1. Does that mean the AC adapter that came with the PS2 is already universal and that I don't need any voltage converter to play in other country?

2. If I have a PS2 which is NTSC and if I plug it to a PAL TV can the game display correctly?

3. Also I'll be bringing my burned backup copies of games to UK which means my baggage has to go through the security at the airport, is it risky?
