E-mule constants bsod's

At first when I started using e-mule it was going ok, now when I leave it on all night I get up to find a bsod.(blue screen of death) I am only downloading 3 or 4 files at a time, and have NTL cable broadband.
I have disabled Norton and my firewall. I am at a loss what to try next. Can anyone help? Is there another site that I can try? I use Kazaa and Imesh, but Emule has more programs to choose from.
