Ok, so i sit down and start playing some GTA last night. I normally play about two hours on it about 3-4 times a week. Everything is working fine. I do the first Elizabeta mission where you have to play sniper and complete it. Then all of a sudden that game just goes wacky. What i mean by that is everything in the game is working with the exception of my phone, which when i call or make a call i hear nothing. So i figure screw it and move on. I try to make a call to Michelle, again i hear nothing, yet the call does go through since the screen now says i have to go meet her. So i jack a nice car, head over there and again all is silent as far as other characters go. I can still heear all other game items like cars, people on the street, the car radio, just not Michelle.
After i take her home that game just sort of freezes. I say sort of freezes because the only thing frozen is me, everything else in the game is still moving along.
I go back to the dashboard, start it again and everything seems fine. That is until about 10-15 minutes in when it decides to freeze me again. Again everything else in the game is still moving but i am frozen and can do nothing but watch myself sitting in a car.
Pretty odd stuff. Hope it was just a freak thing. And in case you ask it is a retail disc in an unmodded Elite. I am not posting this as a problem to solve, just as a weird thing that happened.
My woman was playing my finished game just riding around killing dudes..hehe.. and the cell phone wouldn't display for her. pressing up did nothing. About 15 minutes later (and after she died) it worked again.
i went bowling one night for a solid 30 mins to get the ach. and one throw my bowling ball poped out of the lance into the air and went crazy. i thought it was hilarious, i tried to make it happen again with no luck.
i also have a problem in multiplayer when the server thinks i got hit by a car, but i didnt it was just close, so my dude wobbles around like he is drunk.
