psp semi bricked while downgrading.why?

i hav a slim psp wic was running on 3.80 m33 - 5...somehow it got bricked ...i tried to unbrick it using 3.80 m33-5 universal unbricker.while i was doing so ...it was freezing while formatting flash 1...plz look at this video

now i foung from 1 forum tht by using nand tool 0.2 u can format flash1..so i downloaded nand tool and inside tht file there was 1 file nandtool_02.elf
in the instruction they said to rename that to backup.elf and paste it in the magic memory stick inside th kd folder....then i formatted the flash 1 by dumping the nand..after doing so i installed 3.90 m33-3 after installing they said press x to shutdown psp.i did as they said after tht wen i removed the magic memory stick and the pandora battery and replaced with the original 1 ...the psp does not start......i donno wat to do ....plz help...

did you make the video before or after you dumped the NAND?

if you made it before try the proccess to again to get to 3.80m33-5

also after installing 3.90m33 can you access the recovery mode (take the normal battery out and then put it back in and turn the psp back on while holding the R trigger)

if you can access recovery mode format the flash1 then try the proccess of installind 3.80m33-5 again and see if that helps

if not you will have to do the nand dump thing again and install 3.90m33 so you can access recovery mode and then try the guide stickied the say recovering a semi-brick slim and see if that works (note it works for fat psp to)
