Hello Everyone, well I wanted to know if there was a way to hook up my wii to my graphics card so it can run off my computer monitor, or a way to run the wii directly off the computer monitor itself? I know there are wii- vga cables and boxes, but i really do not have the money nor time to order the stuff off the internet, if it is at all possible, it would be greatly appreciated for any feedback.
Yea actually you would be able to run it on your monitor, you just need a component to vga converter box, i personally use the x2vga. i think its x2vga.com it works great just make sure you use the component cables with the wii in 480p mode
You can run dvd players or console through your video card. You just need to check if your card has a vivo. Video In Video Out. Would need a component or s-video cables. Then you'll have to find a video capturing software like virtual dub. There are only a few nvidia cards that have vivo, ati cards most of the time seem to have a vivo. Second option is buy a tv tuner card, from what I've heard they aren't the best. Or buy a converter box.
