I am having problems with making a magic stick. I have made 2 in the past and I have had no problems. But I recently had to do a system recovery on my computer and now I'm having problems. First of all when I go to usb connection mode on my psp connecting it to the computer the computer doesn't read it for some odd reason. All I get is a safely remove hardware icon on the task bar. Nothing shows up in my computer relating to my psp I don't know why. I've tried different usb ports and it does the same thing. I've formatted the psp stick and I've uninstalled, reinstalled the usb drivers and it still does the same thing.

Also before the above happened. The usb drive wouldn't keep the same letter when I connected to the psp. Everytime I disconnected usb mode as part of the exploit it would give it a new letter when I reconnected and I couldn't finish the exploit. I've tried going to administrative tools and going to disc management or whatever it is that lets you change the letter of a removible drive. I change the drive letter but when I reconnect it. It still gives it another letter. Any way of fixing this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
