Well, my wife volunteered me to install a Wii Clip for a friend, after installing mine. I told her I'd rather show him what to do and not do it myself, but no "It will be fine".

Got the Clip installed, plugged Wii in and Amber power light comes on. Press the power button and the DVD slot blinks blue once and the Wii shuts off totally, no power led or anything. Unplug and Plug back in, amber power light on again, hit eject button does the same thing. Plug in again, try to insert disk, same thing. Pressing the power button again does nothing. Holding power down after does nothing. Tried disconnecting everything except power supply and no go.

Opened it back up Removed the Wii Clip, put it back together and it still does the same thing.

Any suggestions? Sounds to me like a short somewhere or bad power supply in the wii unit. Which I didn't plug in the unit and make sure it worked before I took it apart, and do not know when the last time it was used.

FYI.. DMS chip and Wii Key on Wii Clip.
