Bought a PSP slim, Would like to modify it But Here in the Caribbean a PSP cost $1000. I really can't afford to brick it. Problems are I don't know much bout the PSP. OS Version is 3.72. Question #1 Can I just put on CFW 3.80 or would I have to downgrade to like 3.52 and then upgrade to 3.80? Next how the heck do I do this, I don't have PSP PHAT nor access to one nor do have access to a pandora's battery nor a PSP Phat Battery. Is There anything I can do or am I sh&% out of luck.

Any help at all would be nice, Please don't tell me read guides, I read alot and guides don't answer questions.... email removed

After Hours of reading I think I get alot of it...
In this country trying to get anything off the internet can really cost you for example something that cost you $50 would run me all up $400 when customs finish with you. My only choice would be to try to buy a Phat battery here and if I find a good one I know it won't be cheap.

Question: Where could I find HellCat's Auto Installer or Cory's O.4 (Pandora Software)?

Or an auto installer to suite a slim up to 3.71 that is in english?

Can I use any battery software even though I'm making the battery on an OFW PSP?

Thanks for the Help!

To create the special pandora battery you need a PHAT because on the slim there is no way of running unsigned code.

However you may be able, if you really want to downgrade, to do this : http://www.pspmod.com/forums/hardware/26649-how-switchable-pandora-psp-slim-battery-hard-mod.html

If you choose to hard-mod your battery you will then only need your ms stick setup and just so you know on your ms stick you need Despertar del Cementerio from Dark Alex.

#Despertar del Cementerio - http://exophase.com/files/psp/dc5.rar

I would recomend just going through the readme and checking it out to get a good understanding of what to do.

You wont be able to create the ms stick fully because you need a file from a PSP. There may be that file floating around on the internet somewhere.
