The main reason they have you Upgrade the PSP is for the following reasons:

You ever had a 360?You try to put an xbox game in and what do the ask for?Well the ask you for a code or a download of somesort.Well thats like a psp game...its to make it playable..i forget the rest but its like a key.Its really stupid how the did that..talk about customer care...its better to hack a psp..it makes everthing better.

Other reason is stupid....Its for better security...thats stupid, it just adds more weight to the psp

I have a xbox and when i play a game, i dont have to enter a code or such...
