i just bought a wii and a memory card. im having trouble saving onto the card rather than the hd. how can i save my games and created wii profiles on my hd?

this is not a big problem but it is rather annoying.

any help guys?

The question is kind of confusing.

What memory Card are you speaking of? If it is a Game Cube memory card then you can not copy anything of the Wii to it.

If it is a SD card then you can transfer some game saves (not all) to the SD card by going to the Wii symbol at the bottom left hand corner of screen/data management/save data/Wii/Now select a game save and choose to copy it to the SD card. To transfer game save from SD card to Wii follow the same steps but go to SD card and choose Game Save to copy to Wii system memory.

You can not transfer Mii profiles to the SD card. They are transfered to the WiiMote by going to Mii Channel then selecting Mii transfer on the right hand side of the screen. Then follow the on screen instructions to transfer the Mii to Wiimote. Repeat these steps to transfer Mii from WiiMote to the Wii system. You can also buy a Blue Tooth USB Adapter that can connect the PC to WiiMote and transfer the Mii to PC and vice-versa.

what HD are you talking about? you can only save to SD. Then you can backup your SD to HD. But not directly as hd support is at a very very begining and so far they can only list the files available on the usb HD.
Im sure that larrylje knows it, so i may have misunderstood the question in essence :)

They are refering to the Internal memory of the Wii. Maybe it isnt an HD (it is flash memory) but you get the picture.
