How to backup Orignal Xbox360 games?

How to backup Orignal Xbox360 games?

I looked around the net, and found some software such as SCHTROM360.. well it didnt work.

I also saw that you need a special dvd drive for this...

Well i am on a laptop and have a normal dvd burner, Is there anyway i can backup the games without buying anythiing else?

You are not going to get anything done on a laptop. Sorry. Basically you either need a flashed xbox to rip games from the xbox drive, or pay for a rare samsung drive to rip games from that drive connected to desktop.

Thanks alot for that.

I have found some other tutorial on a site, here is what it says:

hi here is a tut and software so you can all

back up your 360 games ready for the FW hack

or before your games get scrached

it easy all you have to do is

1. Insert a DVD movie which is over 7.5GB
2. Open WxRipper
3. Click Hotswap/Find Magic number
4. Click Hotswap/Stop Drive
5. Use the emergency hole or the hotswap method to change the DVD with a Xbox 360 Game
6. Click Hotswap/Start Drive
7. Click File/Start Dump

and thats it you have got a full dump of the 360 game

Also where do i get a 7.5gb of movie?? Arent DVD 4.5gb? then where do i get 7.5 one..??

Most movies nowadays come in Dual-Layer format. Try getting the Special or Collector's edition of a movie- it should be DVD9.

The best way is with a Kreon drive. I got one for around 40 on eBay. Screw a buncha hotswapping discs.

Spend 100 bucks on an old desktop and a Kreon. Hell that's less than the price of two games. It's worth it in the long run. Then get a crossover cable and connect the old desktop to your laptop. Transfer the game ISO over to your laptop and use the laptop burner to burn the game. Or you could just spend 30 more on a DL burner for the desktop and forget about transferring it.

I say do it right in the first place. Those DL discs are too expensive to make coasters out of.

That, you still need a special drive. If you have the drive, then yeah that will work for sure.
