My brother's white PSP stopped working (can't turn on at all, each time I try to turn it on only power light come on and thats it, the back light for the screen won't even lit).
I tried to use the pandora battery made with the UPMS 4 together with the memory stick, and i was able to boot into the UPMS menu but when I try to chose back up and I got all kinds of corrupted data from back up msg, and once its done I try to put 3.9 m33 on it and while its displaying the msg says formating flash0 the psp will just shut off after few seconds. I already tried every single menu options and it all stuck at the formating flash0 msg and then turn the PSP off.
Does this mean the PSP is physically damaged and require send to service center? If I do will they be able to tell the PSP was running M33 firmware?
Or if anyone knows a fix to this problem?
Tried that and as soon as it says loading Nandtools then the screen will go dark (the back light still on) for maybe 10 seconds then the unit will turn off and after that I can't even use the memory stick no more and I had to redo another UPMS memory stick to work with the pandora battery.
