hi guys, ive seen a LOT of people saying on their signatures that theirs psp have passed trough a lot of bricks, why is that so common?? what causes bricks??? i have my modded psp like from 7 months ago, and it had never had a brick?? why is that? what steps do i need to take to prevent my psp from a brick? THX Guys, sorry for my bad english, my language its spanish. XD

Hmmm - The applications today to use are far more stable than perhaps they were once & i suppose people understand more about bricking and how to avoid.

When i first switched to CFW it was pretty much all manual - Drag and drop style. Today there is a lot of installers that do it all for you which (in my view)is generally safer and quicker.

TBH i have only ever bricked when i have been trying to, while in the process of testing other apps out.

There are to many ways why a brick happens to list here, but probably the easiest way (?) is messing in Flash0 installing flash themes / Game boots etc.

There are also differing severity bricks, most but not always all can be recovered quite easily.

lol iv had mine for 2 years nearly and touch wood never had a brick or semi brick

you may say hay you dont muck about with your psp well i do

iv flashed cfw loads of time i have a custom theme and iv taken my psp apart and changed the full case

the thing that i advise is read everything before you do it other wise you have a brick

i've bricked like 7 times i dont want to explain them all but heres one:

i was flashing my new f0 theme with only ac adaptor and my battery was next to me, friend was just using it as pandora. then my bro comes there and pulls the ac adaptor while i'm flashing. "i need it now" :S

and yes lil offtopic but january39, "Pata Pata Pata Pon......." do you like patapon...? i hate it :I
