There are 2 lttle clips that will secure the 2 ribbons to the MOBO.

Make sure the are clipped down correctly in place if they are you may well have damaged teh ribbons. They are Micro thin.

lol would do but i want a slim

right heres a thing to do if you want to fix it

did you leave the battery in when doing the mod

if so it likly you blew the backlight fuse.

this is a easy fix use this guide its very good for fuses

its worth a try as you have nothing to loose
