I have seen alot of ppl have custom songs on guitar hero 3 but i was wondering is it possible to get custom songs on 360 without it being modded if not how can i do it?

Yea its not possible unless you were to mod you were to mod your disc but then to play it you would have to mod your 360. thats why i prefer guitar hero 3 on pc its so easy to mod i got like 200 something songs on it

I saw a crap load of those custom packs on net. DO they install to hardrive then you run GH III?

i have a custom tracks gh2. you can only play it on expert though

no, you just burn it as a normal game and play it. all the creator/hacker did was replace the sound files with a different song, and and then change where the keys should be at. there are about 6 different custom ones out that are actually playable. many have really bad syncing and cant hear the music, or notes, or both.

This is the only link i saw to gh3 on xbox 360

So its possible but he wont tell us. the tools we currently have can not access the ark files to change them. it only works for gh2

therefor, you can do it but it hasnt been a public release for the coding or software, unless.....we just dont know lol
