hi i wanted to ask you guys that is there any way i can download the map without paying by credit card. i have a eftpos and a paypal account but i dont have a credit card. (i am under 18 thats why). any help

What part of the world you from?
Reason i ask, is there is a prepay credit card, two i know of called,
3V and IDT Prime Credit Card very handy to use.
Works the same as mobile top-up.

Hey im 16 and have my own debit card, that worked. Also i think those PSN point cards are coming soon, so that should be a solution to people with the same problem.
Fat PSP: 3.03 oe-c (will update when i have time :P)

Hopefully sooner rather than later, it will benefit Sony in the long run.
Am surprised they never had this out whenever PS3 was released.

I am from Australian and i have a debit card but how to use it? (there is no option of debit card for buying stuff)

I don't understand how he paid by debit it doesn't really make sense.
There's only two ways this could go,
1.) He uses pay-pal which takes money from your bank account and allows you to use money from your bank account online.
2.) He had confused credit with debit.

I dont think it matters if its a debit or credit card (as long as its a card lol) i just signed up with all my details and it worked so...
Just put your debit card details where it says "enter your credit card details".
...And also make sure you have enough on your debit card to buy it :P

whenever i try to download it this error code comes up <80023102> its realy anoying cos the old maps i hve played like 700 times

Mine is also visa... Might be the only debit card that works?

Yes. This a a Debit card that I got from my bank. It is Backed By VISA. It is not a "pre-paid" type card. It takes the place of writting checks by hand. By being backed by VISA, it has a credit card ####-###-#### on the front. I enter that # when making a transaction at any store and "PSN" on the account set up. Any transaction takes money from my checking account first. If I do not have suffecint funds in the bank, the remainder of the purchase will be billed to VISA. Any one with a checking account at a bank should be able to get a Debit card from their bank. I love my debit card, compaired to writting checks.
