Hi,
Ive just bought the same TOOL battery mentioned in the guide to make a magic memory stick and pandora battery.
anyways after putting in the TOOL battery my psp ON light appears on GREEN and there is nothing on the display.
ive tryed to hold down the power button to turn it off or on but nothing happends.
i put in my psp battery and it loads up fine.
any ideas whats wrong with it?
thanks

lily the mms hasnt been made properly
try the proccess again
also what size is the mem stick 4gb+ is a bit funny
also check to see if its fake ( go to memcard icon on psp - press triangle - go to information - then if it says magic gate unknown its fake) if it is its lily that it might be the problem

no it just means it will have a slow read/write speed it might corrupt files when coping them across and the fall apart easy
but i have a fake 4gb and its fine on most of that (never corrupted data)
yer the 1gb should work fine

silly, question, but does it make a differnce weather or not I created the MMS by pluging the Card into my PC Card reader?
Or does it have to be dont via USB mode on the PSP?

up to you i find 3.71m33 fine but there are some games that dont run on 3.71
also it doesnt have the m33 update so if you dont want to have to muck about with putting files into folder and stuff to update to 3.80 or 3.90m33 or even 4.00m33 when it comes out (one day) then id suggest going to 3.90m33-2
but you will need to get the -3 update (just click the net update icon when its set to m33 update in recovery mode and it will get the update for you ready to run)

Thanks dude, all has gone well..
ive copyed over my game and i get an error that reads:
The game Could Not Be Started.
(80020321)
does this mean that the formwere i used wasnt supported my the CSO file? or do i need a game disc to be insterted for it to work?
(i sold all my psp games lol)

nope if its a cso just pop it in the iso folder and then press select on the xmb menu and then go to no-UMD and change it to m33 and then boot the game up and it should work
note if you want to use homebrew you will need to install the kernel addon for your cfw unless you have a slim as you wont be able to install fw lower than 3.60 on a slim
hope thats all fine enjoy
(thinking about backing up and selling my old games got 10 ov em lol)

Guys Ive just found this video, I think is great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQnbJfH1mrw
Im still waiting for my Tool battery to arrive!
***TOOL battery my psp ON light appears on GREEN and there is nothing on the display***
In the video the guy had the same problem and what he did was to put the normal battery again because the tool battery wont boot the psp normally.
