Hey guys and gals. My cousin bought a new slim today. We are having an issue. I have hacked 2 psp's so far. I am using a Hot Wire brand battery. for some reason, on the NEW psp, the pandora battery wont even light up the power light (waiting for stick insertion) Any ideas? I have hacked a psp fat and slim. tried holding R, L and both together while inserting battery to no avail. thing just wont recognize it.

add'tl clarification

placing it in hold, and holding L trig, while inserting batt, NO LIGHTS

placing the batt in normally, NO LIGHTS

place regular batt in, flip pwr switch, unit powers on, Official S/W 3.90

Power down place Hot Wire/Pandora in my PSP, Instant green light, waiting for card

Place in cousings other slim psp, (no triggers held, no nothing just place battery in) instant green light.

Older Pandora revisions do not support the PSP Slim (or 2000). Use this guide to upgrade it.

Duly noted. Ended up using the battery soft mod procedure on the ta-085 to hack the ta-085v2. too bad I couldnt find that last night while I was there. Had to call my cousin and walk him through all of it today.

The other thing that gets me though, his old PSP-2001 slim hacked no problem, but the brand new one acted like there was no battery what so ever (ta-085 vs ta-085v2) UNTIL we soft modded an original slim battery. hard mod battery would not be recognized.
